Alpaca

Originally domesticated by the Andean cultures of South America, alpacas bring a unique cultural heritage to our Lapland farm. Their presence adds a touch of diversity to the traditional farming landscape, fostering a connection between local culture and sustainable agriculture.
Alpacas have a thick fleece that insulates them against the cold, making them well-equipped to handle the harsh winters of Lapland. Their natural wool is designed to keep them warm, allowing them to thrive in sub-zero temperatures.
The fleece of alpacas is hypoallergenic, lightweight, and incredibly warm, making it a sustainable alternative to synthetic fibers. By raising alpacas, we contribute to eco-friendly practices while producing high-quality wool.
